HOW IT WORKS: THE PROCESS

1. Contact Me

Contact me using this form and give me a brief idea of what you need.

2. Chat and questions

I’ll send you a short questionnaire to find out more about your business and your target readers and we’ll schedule a chat to discuss your project.

3. Quotation

I’ll then send you a custom proposal and quotation for the planning session and suggest some possible dates for the introductory call and the planning session itself. If you’re happy to go ahead, we’ll finalize dates and I’ll book your project into my calendar and send you a contract to sign. This is the point when I’ll also invoice you for the project deposit (usually 50% of the total).

4. Introductory call

The 30-minute introductory call is a chance for us to talk more about the information you’d like to produce and your target customers/service-users. This helps us both get an idea of the kinds of things we’ll work on during the planning session.

5. Planning Session

During the planning session, we’ll talk about the information you need to prepare before you start writing your dementia-friendly information. We can talk about which format would be best and how to structure it for your target readers. By the end of the 2-hour session, you should have a clear idea of how to format and write your information and what extra resources you need to gather before you start. We’ll schedule a date for our follow-up call to suit you. Usually about 2-4 weeks after the session.

6. Invoice

After our planning session, I’ll send my invoice for the balance of payment. Payment will be due within 30 days.

7. Follow-up call.

During our follow-up call, we can talk about the progress you’ve made and discuss any issues or problems that have arisen, so that you can finalize your dementia-friendly written information. And don’t forget! You can get back in touch at any time for more support or to schedule another session.
